New York Fashion Week - Spring 2010

As the Mulleavy sisters put it, their collection touched on the post-apocalyptic tale of a woman trying to survive. To wit, they destroyed their clothes to wondrous effect. And just as ever, they approached it with meticulous precision — shredded chiffon and silk, piecemeal swaths seemingly cobbled together, strips of leather intersecting. You could call it goth, Mad Max-ian. Or, you could call it gorgeous (we did).
